Healthy sleep habits make healthy children. The amount of sleep which our children get every night and daytime is as much important as the food that they eat. A well-rested child is not only happier but also much more energetic, curious and eager to learn. And this is because sleep is so important that “Fée De Beaux Rêves” has been created, so that every parent and child can get the sleep they need and also enjoy every day they spend together…  As we all know time flies!

When parents entrust me as their child’s “sleep guide,” either through one-on-one consultations or workshops, they are placing a great deal of trust in me, and I take this responsibility very seriously.

So, what makes “Fée De Beaux Rêves” so powerful? It takes into consideration two fundamentals: your parenting style and your child. The bottom line is that you, as a parent, need to be comfortable with your new sleep plan in order for it to work for your child.

My approach to improving your child’s sleep is pretty simple:

  • I will give you honest information about why sleep is so important for your child’s well-being. This will give you all the motivation you need to make changes to your child’s sleep habits.
  • I will lay out an easy-to-follow, step-by-step plan that lets you make some choices about what the right approach for your child is. All children are different, and nobody knows your child better than you do. I encourage you to use that knowledge to customise his or her sleep plan.
  • I will be there along the way, encourage you and tell you what to expect. No, you shouldn’t expect your child to sleep 12 uninterrupted hours on the first night — although it does happen! And together we will measure success at the end of the program.

A little note about the “crying” question, as people often ask me about whether the solutions involve “crying it out,” I think it’s something that deserves to be addressed here.

Crying is your child’s way of protesting, and you can expect that making changes to their sleep habits will result in some protest. That’s why I always make sure to tell parents that my program will, most likely, involve some amount of protest on the child’s part.

Please understand that I will never ask you to leave your child to cry alone, nor will I ask you to ignore their cries. The reason that my Method is so effective is that it lets you develop a plan that you feel comfortable with, based on what you know about your child.
